I have been teaching for 9 years and have loved every minute of it! I began my career in first grade as the inclusion teacher. I co-taught for two years and then moved to the preschool inclusion for six years. I had an absolute blast teaching second grade this past year and I am beyond excited to teach second grade again! I truly believe that each student that I have had the pleasure of teaching has taught me just as much as I have taught them!

A Little Bit About Me!
I am a proud dog mom and wife. I absolutely LOVE what I do. My mom told me that she knew I was going to be a teacher when I taught my sister to read at the age of 4 or when I would hijack my sister's play-dates to play "school" with her and her friends. I am a true educator in the sense that I love to learn new things. On my time off, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, running with my dog, reading, and traveling.

Educational Philosophy
I have an uncompromising view that all students can learn given a supportive and positive learning environment that welcomes exploration and fosters confidence. Educators must lead by example. We must show our students what it is to be a contributing community member. It is my belief that it is an educator’s mission to build trusting and mutual relationships with their students to make school an enjoyable and stimulating experience.
